i had to replace the ball joints upper and lower on right front.everything was going fine untill i couldent get the spindal to go on to the lower ball joint.any one know how to do this? the ball joint faces down and the spindal goes up on it. i tried jacking the lower control arm up but dont get enough heigh. do i have to remove the axel and do it that way? thanks in advance
can you pry down on the upper control arm? use a chain on floor jack to pull the spindle down. shouldnt have that much trouble but it does happen occasionally

i did some reading and i have to take the hub out and that will give me room to slip the ball joint into the spindal
but you got it out without removing the hub???
no it wouldnt break loose with the fork and a bfh so i just cut the old joint

all back together in like 20mins after i got the hub out
