2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport + Extras

Well, it’s time to sell ye old jeep. Got myself a new wrangler unlimited so need to clear up some space.

Year: 2001
Make: Jeep
Model: Cherokee Sport 4x4
Vin: 1J4FF48S91L519614
Color: Black
Milage: 190,635 KM (118,455 miles)

Engine:

  • 6 Cylinder (4.0 H.O)
  • K&N FIPK Intake kit

Transmission:

  • Automatic (2H, 4H, 4Fulltime, 4L) Command-trac 4-wheel drive transfercase.
  • Shifts perfectly. No slip at all. Well, what do you expect for a jeep with such low miles.
  • Needs a new rear end

Interior:

  • Good condition.
  • Seats have no rips or damage. Just a few stains.
  • Carpets are all perfect except for trunk carpeting. Had a few EJ25 transmissions in there. They leak pretty easily when they move around.
  • Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise, 3" in-dash DVD player, Cobra Ultra CB radio

Exterior

  • Rocker panel rust on both sides
  • Roof paint oxidising
  • Sylvania performance headlights
  • New mufler
  • New oem leaf springs (2 years old)
  • Uhaul class 3 Tow hitch w/ball + wiring kit
  • Carr flip down Roof lightbar
  • Tires: BFGoodrich Long Trail TA Tour (6,500 miles on them)

Will need:
New rear end ($400)
New rear wiper motor
Hand brake cable

Looking to sell this as a parts car. It is currently registered in Montreal, Quebec in Canada. So if you want to drive it in the USA, you will have to fill out a ton of paperwork, duties, etc… Not worth the aggrivation in my opinion.
Selling it as a parts car makes it a ton easier.

i have a rearend, its a chrysler 8.25 from a 95 cherokee, will bolt right in

you have the 4.0 automatic, your gear ratio should be 3.55, check. if you want the rearend i have, it will need brakes gone thru. 75$

edit, id trade for your roof rack.

I thought the 8.25s began in late 96 till 01.
Any idea?

the 97 + got either the 8.25 29 spline or the junk dana 35

in pre 97 they came with either the 27 spline 8.25 or the dana 35

the only difference is the spline on the axles / carrier, 29 being stronger than 27 for extreme offroading.

this wouldn’t be hard to import.
but why is it here.

You’re right it isn’t too hard to import but the paperwork alone i was told to get a US title would take 4-6 months to go through. Not my cup of tea.

It is here because I used to live in Montreal a few years ago and I just moved to Rochester. So I left it registered in MTL. Makes life easier.

Well,
Looks like this thing isn’t selling.

Crushing it into a cube next week.

what are you looking to get for the truck if ur crushing it

yeah ill give you 250 if its stateside, with no paperwork.

thats better than scrap price
