2003 Ford Focus Sedan

Its rusty and has 187,000ish easy highway miles. 2.3l engine, 5spd. Runs and drives great. Needs some work to pass inspection. Has Nokians with 6-8/32 tread left. All interior features work including A/C. Doesn’t leak or burn any fluids.

I am the original owner. Drove it thru April this year with no problems. Its been sitting since then except for going around the block a few times every week or so.

Items that I know of that need to be fixed:
Check engine light-last time the code was read it was for a stuck IMRC valve…possibly a vacuum leak.
Parking brake does not work, could probably use some rear brake work while you are in there.
At least one tie rod is on its way out. You might want to check the rest of the suspension.

New parts in the past year: both front calipers, a few wheel bearings, ignition lock cylinder, battery, fuel filter.

Not that it adds any value but it does have aftermarket suspension parts so it is pretty low and quite stiff. Stainless catback and CAI too.

Roof Rack not included:

$800

Decent deal

Probably a vacuum line or the IMRC actuator,m&m always has like 5 foci in the yard. Some chip guard on those rockers and its a solid winter beater.

bump. $800. Offers considered.

Damn if it passed inspection if have The cash and a car trailer at your place tomorrow

the 2.3 with 5spd that’s in this is worth the $800 alone. Solid car. GLWS.

Hey nick are these issues easy to fix? And do you have any extra parts? The misses said she wouldnt mind it… And wants to learn stick I showed her pics of it…

Trade for a turn key 99 s10??? Deff of equal value

all the major p.i.t.a. parts have been done. The e-brake cables are an absolute sinch to change. I am unfamiliar with the IMRC setup on the 2.3’s but if it’s anything like the SVT’s IMRC system, it may need to just be cracked open, cleaned, and a soldering joint repaired (there are how-to’s on IMRC rebuilds on the forums for the SVT one that might be useful) - if this is the only code that appears on inpsection, it will PASS

tie rods are obv. fairly simple, would just need an alignment afterwards.

as for spares, all I have is a set fenders, a set of dropzone 2.2" lowering springs and a polyurethane transmission mount. (and a Euro front bumper but that’s more money than the asking price of this car lol)

In my opinion, this is a really great deal. as said…some bedliner on the rockerpanels and a touch-up on the lowers of the doors there and this car is good to go!

Tie rods are simple and obvs, I was more or less concerned with it passing inspection, you answered my question about the sensor, I pmd him to see if he will trade for my truck, if not I’ll sell it and but it with cash plain and simple lol, thank you nick for your input!

Idc if it’s rust either lol I’ll just spray it lol

make sure to install duct tape and bungie-cords first…gotta make sure they match!

Zebra Duct tape and then bungie cords and spray over the cords so they blend in lmfao

^ dicks!

This is a steal for $800.

GLWS G-rock

wow 1 owner and $800…contemplating this

Wow…

I don’t see what the obsession is over this.

apparently there is none…bump

Don’t sell it, you just need to wait out the next 23 days: http://www.hollandspeedway.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=661:september-8-2012-crasharama-full-size-school-bus-figure-8&catid=35:scheduleinfo&Itemid=55

I’ll even give it a free (labor) paint job.
