Up for sale is my Honda civic Hybrid. It’s a very rare MANUAL HYBRID. It runs smooth, is a solid commuter that gets great gas mileage. I generally get between 45-55MPG around town. When hypermiling, I get 65+ MPG, with a record at 82mpg seen below. Has about 144k miles. The engine is in top shape, and it uses a timing chain. The clutch grabs hard, and there is absolutely no rust in the underside. The battery charges to full capacity and hybrid system works like new. This car thus far as treated me really well.
It handles GREAT (for a hybrid). The suspension is the same as the Acura RSX, so I’ve replaced the shocks with Tokico Blues with Tien lowering springs. Car rides on lightweight civic HX wheels. I also have a winter tire set if price is right. In addition, I installed RSX Type-S rear sway bars (26mm) and bushings. All the suspension bushings and ball joints are tight, so the car rides like new. In fact, I just replace all four sway bar end links just last fall.
I’ve also installed HIDs (5k) on the car. There is a full 7 inch touch screen headunit, full iphone/ipod connectivity via bluetooth, rear backup camera, and a 10" subwoofer. You also get one of the cleanest RSX black leather seats I’ve EVER seen. The rear seats are factory cloth but just as clean.
There are cosmetic flaws. The front headlight is slightly yellowed (can use a polish). I hit a curb on the lower, front passenger fender (hard to see), and the rear bumper will need to get repainted/refitted on the drivers side.
All things considered, this is a solid, cheap, and rear manual hybrid. I am forced to sell it because I am moving cross country. This is my third car, and I can only keep the other two. I am flexible, need to sell quick, and will consider all reasonable offers.
