Miles?

112,000 - full compression. She pulls hard and strong, especially in the mid-range.

Looks to be a great example…always liked these cars…

x2 for liking these, but have never been in one that had any low or mid range power, they all felt under powered until 7k

With this exhaust, mine rips from about 4,500 to 7,000, then continues to pull, just not as dramatically, until about 8500 and then the power levels off until about 9,300.

In other words - exactly the way you want it for an autocross.

Keep in mind, I have also dramatically improved acceleration as a result of proper gearing (tire sizing) and class-legal weight reduction.

new battery today.

Man, this is an awesome deal, especially with all the additional stuff. I keep asking myself, am I crazy/stupid enough to own 2 RX8’s??

Yes.

Well, he won’t be owning this RX-8 because it sold, and the new owner is going to enjoy gaping everyone’s assholes in Street class with it.

Well that’s a bummer. After a night of sleeping on it, this sounded like an even better idea… Oh well, a day late a dollar short…
