2005 Honda CBR600RR *UPDATE*

a new bike  I’d like another 600rr, but I may possibly look into Triumph 675’s…they look amazing.

should be interesting to see how much the insurance company says it’s worth to buy it back… Sucks that it’s totalled though. Damage wasn’t THAT bad.

I say get interest now so that maybe someone will be ready to immediately buy the bike for the insurance value.

Yeah thats what I want to do too. But only if it’s worth it on my part, I may be better off taking the lump sum.

Talk to kuntryquest. and see what he can do…

let me know what they want i need a bike so bad

soo…I just went to www.triumph.com…

i was expecting bikes, no bikes…but i was not disappointed…hahah

mmmmm.

Well…

Good news and Bad News…

Good News, I’m going to be fully reimbursed for ALL my expenses (bike, jacket, helmet, lost time at work, injuries, ect…)

Bad News, The bike is going to be totaled, and picked up by salvage. The buy back from insurance is 4,902.06. So I’m not going to be selling the bike. I would have, had the buy back price been lower, but I don’t think I will be able to sell a salvage title bike for more than that, so I would be losing money.

Sorry to everyone that was interested in the bike.

AHHHHH

True. story.

i have a 675 and it ran great up to about 6000 miles then it dropped a valve, was in the shop for about 2 months getting rebuilt, put about 400 miles on it never revved it over 8000 rpms, and blew up again cruisin down 490. both times it blew up i was just cruisin down the high way the second time i was actually in traffic during rush hour in a construction zone and it was hot as hell couldnt get any worse

wat?

thats alright, I did that at work not thinking, I was not disappointed either.

Yours is the ONLY 675 I have seen this happen with, all we have left is 08’s.
altho I will still be humping the speed triples
