hey guys - i am going to float my bike and see if it will sell. i would like to free up as much cash as I can to invest at this point… so here goes…
it is a 2003 with 10k miles on it.
black with red wheels
aftermarket HIDs
aftermarket integrated tail
heated grips
yoshimura slip on pipe
vortex swing arm spools
frame sliders
90% tread left on michelin pilot powers
it was laid down in october; however, i had frame sliders on it, thus the only body damage was to the tail (which was replaced). the repairs were all done professionally by wny cycle in lockport (only honda dealer in the area). there was NO frame damage whatsoever, and it was NOT totalled. the bike is in pristine condition now, runs perfect.
with the upgrades i put on it, i am looking for $5300. for $5500 i will include t-rex front and rear stands, 3 oem honda oil filters, 5 quarts of mobil 1 oil, oem stock headlights, an extra sprocket, a motorcycle cover, the stock tail light, etc.
i love the bike, but i have more pressing priorities right now.
pm to set up a time to come see it - we can fire it up (it is on stands in my garage)
If I can swing it I would love to pick this up in a couple of months. Of course I would have to sell my bike and work out a couple things first so it doesn’t look tooo promising. It should sell quick too, looks fantastic.
will - i have deliberated over this for a while. with the economy being what it is right now, i just cant justify having any capital tied up in non-essential assets. my capital is much more efficiently deployed in the market and real estate. couple this with the emotional roller coaster i put kristen on when i lowsided, i just am having a tough time justifying hanging onto it. you know i over analyze everything, but i think this is the right call for me.
thanks for the compliments, guys - i will be sad to see it go (if it goes) too
Bike went 10.9 at high 120’s a few times as well with a novice drag racer on it. It’s geared down a tooth in the front, with a stock rear sprocket. Yoshimura slip on pipe that was repacked at around the 8000 mile mark I believe, or just before Sam took ownership. Still has heated grips too right Sam? Also has Vortex swing arm spools. Chain was always checked for proper tension and was lubed once a week when it was washed / waxed.
Those pics are unedited btw, thats really how shiny it is.
