2006 F250 XLT FX4 Super Duty 6.0L Diesel

Well I gave you all a chance on an awesome truck and none of you were paying attention. I ended up working out a deal on something a little more “salesman friendly”. Should be picking it up next week. FYI, the plow, ladder rack, tool box, extra wheels and tires, and Banks Tuner system will still be up for sale as they weren’t part of the deal. Foureyed, you should be calling me on some of this.

Pretty much what I was looking for. I had a hard on for the newer Dodge’s and even looked at some 06 and 07 Dodges with higher miles. Just don’t have the funds to get what I wanted in a 2009, 2010, 2011 Dodge. This came up out of the blue and although I don’t have a great love for Ford products recently (as many of you know) it was in clean condition and came back with a clean car fax. Started life in Michigan and been local since 08. Has a couple little paint issues but the interior is stupid clean and it will be checked out on a lift very soon. The tires are a little “meaty” and ride a little rough but have some good life left on them (BFG TA something or others). Tranny overhauled on 2011. Basil offers a “lifetime” engine warranty at no charge and it just made it in under the requirements of the program. Can’t say I have a lot of faith in this offering based on my experience with these types of warranty programs. Based on the carfax it looks like it was well maintained. Really looking forward to moving on with some new changes in my life.

Thanks to Thunderbunny for the time he spent with me but I just couldn’t work the deal with the funding gap. It was a sweet truck and I wish it could’ve worked out.

Sooner than later I will be looking for a touch screen stereo with bluetooth for the phone. (hint, hint)

Nice rig

Hope the f150 was a partial trade, you’ll want a tuner for that 5.4L they are total turds.

I’ll be happy just to drive it like an old man.

Good choice on the F150!

I’m not really interested in putting a plow or rack on my truck, but what are the wheels / tires you have?

Original post.

nice pick up!

Thanks. Would my mother still qualify for the referral check we spoke of even though I bought at another Basil dealer?
