Up for sale is my 2006 VW GTI package 2 (rare edition with heated power leather seats, Dual zone climate control, cold weather package including heated mirrors and nozzles, as well as a sunroof). The car is tastefully modified with top of the line parts for improved performance. I consider this to be the ultimate daily driver, but am selling to get into something a little more economical. The car has 139k adult driven miles, and has been maintained very well. In the past few months, I have taken this on several long trips including a trip to Philadelphia, NY, and Boston. My last trip to Boston I got 36mpg.
I purchased this car directly from the original owner who was a fellow enthusiast and used it as his commuter. You can tell the car was treated properly. Cam followers were frequently done ( I change every 20k), oil every 5k (I personally use MANN/ Rotella T6 after reviewing used oil analysis’ this is the best oil IMO), and the timing belt/ water pump was done at 90k. I just went through and did a tuneup with new transmission fluid, spark plugs, fuel/ cabin filters, driver side axle, brand new summer tires alignment, and New York state inspection. 500 miles ago, I put on rotors and pads on all 4 corners.

The bad:
- First and foremost, this is a daily driver, not a show car. There are a few rock chips on the front end of the car
- There is a dent as pictured on the roof from a bicycle falling off the mount. I’ve received quotes as low as $400 to fix- just never got around to biting the bullet.
