2006 trailbazer SS

:word: to what you said…

13.2 in the quarter, and 4.6 to 60… sounds a lot like the 03 Cobra.

I may be leasing one of these…depending on what the GMS employee price is

oh no you don’t.

so far 3 out of my 4 owned cars have been SUV’s so i think i fit in here. Furthermore, one ford one gmc, one nissan. Theres two things i dont like about suv’s. theyre sloppy, and i feel too high off the ground. The best part about having an suv is that u can go off-road, and u can own the roads in the snow if u know how to drive(i say that because soccer moms always crash their escalades). Having an SUV with a lot of torque and hp is really only good if u got something heavy to tow, or if ur gonna do some off-roading. Other then that, why would u wanna drag race an suv? got sumn to prove or maybe just trying to make up for a small dick? street wise, ide love to see an suv outperform a 300zx OVERALL, being able to go fast in a straight line isnt everything. personally ide rather drive a 300zx na, then a 350 hp truck any day of the week. to sum things up…fast trucks are pointless as a DD, sports cars are fun to drive, and soccer moms crash fast suv’s when it snows. that is all

I beg to differ, there is no difference between wanting a car that has a lot of HP than a truck that has a lot of HP.

If wanted to play like that, why wouldn’t you get a different car? a 300zx sucks - it’s heavy, expensive to mod. Why didn’t you buy a civic!?!?

:devilsadvocate:

:word:

if you wanted handling and no power, you wouldn’t go with a 300ZX NA… believe me.

If your in a SUV and you have a small penis, and you beat up on most of the TT 300ZXs in the area, you go home winning the race, and beating off to the same porn the guy who lost does, just with a bigger smile on your face

With triple digit power that thing would rock…

Or not.

kind of not how i would put it, but i somewhat agree on this. unless you tow things constantly - SUV owners dont need to perform like a sports car - bottom line is unless you are gonna race or for some reason need a fast vehicle, u shouldnt have one. its pointless and dangerous…but if u do need one - ur gonna pick a car over a truck for numerous reasons

if there’s a market for something

the auto makers are going to respond and create it

i personally hate xB’s and elements… but there they are, it doesn’t matter man - if someone wants something, within reason, they’re gonna make it. if i had the money, i’d buy something else. you obviously would too.

In many situations, sports cars just aren’t practical. The non-NYSPEED world doesnt use their cars seasonally. Personally, I’m thinking about selling my F-body to get one of these. I refuse to have a slow car, but i need something that can haul people and shit around, and not suck too badly in the winter. Other than a dodge magnum RT, which might as well be an SUV given the aerodynamics, and due to light rear end probably handles just the same as my f-bod in the snow, what choice do i have? This type of vehicle is made to eliminate the “sports car to minivan” transition, which coincides with the neutering of most guys.

Probably the worst thing ive ever heard in my life. Whats wrong with having something that has some power? You cant just drive around a car with decent power that is fun to drive, you have to be racing it all day?

lost cause.

Wow talk about cheap my trailblazer LT was a few hundred under $40k, and I only have the 4.2 I6

where are you getting those times from? All i have been able to find is

“rips off the quarter-mile in less than 14 seconds.”

“Heinricy tested a two-wheel-drive version that achieved 60 mph in 5.4 seconds, the quarter-mile in 13.9 seconds, and 0.80 g on the skidpad.”

road and track

I got it from nitroinsane
who got it from

ok and this is towards howie as well. u guys dont like z’s, think there are better cars ok. but i happen to like em, and in overall street performance, any z> any truck…but if u say civic, vr4, anything. point is that if ur gonna buy a high hp car for street driving, why get a truck? its fucking pointless. Iff u have a ton of kids to drive around to sports practice, wouldnt u just get a truck with better gas mileage? it doesnt make sense, and im not saying that an na z is the best car out there, im just saying that its pointless to have a high hp truck if ur not going offroad or towing a fucking camper.

Word

If I could find one cheep enough, you better believe I’d pick a Lightning up as my next vehicle. (I’d get rid of the mustang in a heart beat).

some people just like the challange… just because a truck or SUV is sloppy on the road in stock form, doesnt mean that it cant be modded to run circles around alot of the slower, yet more agile, cars.

I mean, my rustang is pretty near stock and it handles ok for the most part (or atleast alot better than most suv’s I’d imagine)… but I dont go throwing into corners as a result. I mostly do straight line runs… so whats wrong with doing that in a bigger vehicle? (plus that trucks skid pad isnt all that bad for what it is… I’m sure it handles decent… and could be made better yet)

how the hell did they get that much better a time out of it

Oh well.
