Word is that it will be getting a 400+hp v8. 
Gah I hate how Mercedes ditched the classy headlights on this and the S for something so angular and Japanese looking.
I wouldn’t call that peanut shaped thing “classy.”
I would buy an E-Class just to avoid the ugly known as the new C-class and S-Class.

I never liked the C-class headlights…
I am however totally dissapointed in the new S class front end…the previous gen was sooooooooo pretty…
Oh well, E-class is still the best looking sedan on the road

And the previous S-class was a rattling POS.
my dad had a 2005 S500 4matic…no rattles, it was absolutely spectacular…
the c class sucks anyways. Part of the reason benz reliability is sinking right now. Making cheap entry level cars that everyone can have.
i wouldnt say japanese looking…more like cts or dodge looking…but 400hp v8 in an entry level car is cool with me
I guess they made them better right away in 2001, but the 2000’s were reeeeeeally terrible.
Only problem is the AMG version isnt really entry level, its over $50,000 :gotme:

Looks good on the outside but that interior is HOOOOOORRIBLE.
i think itll grow on me kind of like most MBs do. When I first saw the slk I thought it looked overdone…then after a couple days it started looking better and better
i think the headlights make it look like a focus or a corolla or something.
