I have black one sitting here, come on down here and you can take her for a spin.
Driving it is like sex with 2 supermodels

I normally don’t read or respond to kill stories…especially long stories, but this one I actually enjoyed.
I’ve been intrigued by the G8. Too bad GM is sell very few of them. I’m looking forward to the GXP.
are they really that nice i have been thinking of a new car and my friends keep suggesting the g8 i can not stop thinking that its cheap like a grand am.
I’m pretty sure a 328 wouldn’t be able to hang within a few cars from a roll, it would be more like buses.
as far as racing an evo I would bet alot of money that any stock evo would lose from a roll against a 335i or G8 GT.
335i traps 104ish in the 1/4 and the G8 GT is around 106.
stock evos have a tough time hittin 100, hell modded mid 12sec evos only do 106-108.
not even close to the grand am. Interior is pretty good but not overly fancy/high end so they could keep the price down, engine is a monster and it shifts real smooth, personally I think it could shift faster but it is real smooth, handles real well for a stock car, brakes are good for a stock car as well and the thing looks sooooooo badass in person.
I would absolutely own one if I didn’t just buy my Silverado. I don’t think you can beat the dollar per smile/horsepower/fun-as-shit-to-drive when you are buying a factory equipped car.
Why not just stock vs. stock? Tunes go further on certain cars…
Nice Kill.
Ran into a G8 GT on zeee highway over the summer and it was pretty even with my GTO. I might have had a lil up top. Guessing if I ran one at the track I might get it by a tenth or 2. I like them and may look into getting a GTP if I cant swing a CTS by next year. Not a fan of the lacking Nav though.
Well written lol
Cory you didnt fuckin call me? Glad to didnt lose to the d-bag or i would hear about it for a long ass time…
I love the new G8’s. However, i would be surprised if my evo didnt beat it. Some one rent one of those things again and let me know. I have an 05 evo VIII with just an aem intake and tune. I feel pretty confident in mine winning from a dig and roll.
haha not from a dig if you keep launching it on that stock clutch:mamoru:
yeah i know all about that :lolsign:
Nice story, its pretty amazing how cocky some people can be, even when they have no idea what their up against.
to quote an AV installer at work “nothing says rental car better than Pontiac”. They will be sleepers for some time to come among the unknowing.
A. you have a tune
B. don’t be so confident
Those G8’s are awesome looking,When I first saw one I thought it was a GTO on roids. Then I got a closer look and man what a gorgeous car.Great work by Pontiac.
I too have been thinking the same thing… and questioning myself for saying it at the same time… I dont think I have ever been insterested in a pontiac product ever:shrug: But its gonna be about 40K still… we will have to see.
Rent one and call me. We shall see
And i did mention above that i had a tune
lol my bad dude i rented it so fast i didnt call anyone…but ill be renting it again most likely this weekend if it comes back by then…
yea i’d wanna see how it does from a roll, from a dig would be no contest with your 2-step i can only stall the car out to 2,000rpm’s before i rip the rear tires loose lol…i was thinking maybe some :tspry: for this next adventure…patty said he’s got a plate kit laying around, just hope it fits lol
I just meant that I wasn’t originally comparing a tuned evo versus a stock G8 GT
