id rock that… hyundai is somthing like the third largest manufacturer now, and correct me if im wrong but their cars have won awards for quality. that motor has lots of potential and the styling is not bad.

I like it, Not BIG on the styling but it flows. Its FR. and its cheap. Like an s13. so it will be a fad for sure lol

I don’t know about Hyundai quality though… My buddy’s 03 Tiburon V6 was pretty gutless… And he even thinks his exhaust “growls” and sounds powerful… Lots of Hyundai guys that I know are ricers anyway… Not the ones that rice it out with Altezzas and Invader bodykit, but talk big, yet rarely ever pop the hood open…
I know Nissan will have a better product with the upcoming Silvia, it’ll boast more power with the new displacement engine(s) they are featuring in it & should hold it’s own in originality with most of it’s design lol. Pretty much the pioneers of the cheap, fast, FR platform.
Isn’t the Genesis aimed more @ the G35/G37 cars? luxury sports class, so either way it wouldn’t be right to compare the new Silvia to it anyways lol.

I don’t like how Hyundai reverse engineers/copies the look and dynamics of their cars and engines from better established manufacturers if you check out the 2.0L turbo engine, looks very similar to the SR. Originality would be one department they should focus on more, especially with their body designs lol.

And lol at the Sr comment. How is a 2.0L turbo engine supposed to look much different to the next 2.0l turbo engine? The Genesis uses a version of the 4B11T out of the Evo X. Damn mitsu’s copying the Sr!
I’m looking foward to Nissan’s release of the next “silvia/S chassis”, but they need to change up the coupe design theme they have going and bring out something fresh. We’ll see.
I think they should just bring the S15 back, except in LHD, with a few minor tweaks (like Hyundai did with the 03-style Tibby and the Mercury Cougar-looking 08’s).
