Im liking the vettes they have out right now, glen campbell has a gray vette right now with gray rims, i think its looks fucking sick.
Yeah 3 engine options and a couple trim levels.
Plus a drop top available for the base engine.
I don’t think it is that far out there.
I mean the 3 series BMW has
Coupe, Sedan, Wagon
Rear or awd
Gas or Diesel
3 different engines
and multiple option packages
Granted I am comparing a halo car to a entry BMW

What I am trying to say is that what is the point of this car. Don’t know what the pricing is yet but as a shopper I am either going to get the base model or man up and get the z06.
I am not talking about something as simple as trim levels as the vette has at least 4 LT1-4.
Most people who buy base model vettes are middle aged to old guys who want softer handling and such so they don’t break a hip if they have to drive up Wehrle, and are willing to sacrifice a little turning performance to get it. This is for the buyers who aren’t, but don’t want to spend the extra 30k on a Z06. It already exists now for the most part, as the Z51 add-on package on regular vettes.
Also, there’s people like me who won’t buy a manual. This is the best performance vette you can get in auto.
Zo6 has no convertible option so this could workout for some people.
Also as for BMW, back in January they laid off 26,000 works and was applying for government aid if I remember correctly.

Numerous changes were outlined for the 2010 'Vette line. In addition to the Grand Sport and its scorching performance, the notable changes include, among other things, launch control as standard on all manual transmission models, Performance Traction Management on the ZR1, being able to order any Corvette in any color, and a cashmere interior package available on the Z06 and ZR1.

BMW and most of the other European manufacturers have received a ton of money from their respective home governments.
OT: the car looks god, but I also question the need for so many models of the same car.
Agreed if I ever resort a muscle car it will be jet stream blue.
weird, I really dislike that blue on this vette or any muscle car.
I hate how 90% of them are white, black, silver, or red. Those first 3 colors are automatically disqualified for me, and my last 2 cars have been red. I want something different.
Yup on the 2010 Corvette.
Couple of other neat things for 2010. There is a new model, the Grand Sport. It replaces the Z51 and fits between the stock Vette and Z06. Also, all colors will be available on all models for 2010. And you can now get comp gray wheels on the ZR1.
