They were planning on doing the 556hp s/c lsa out of the caddy, but then caught wind that ford was gonna do a s/c 6.2 in the mustang, now guess what its getting??? thats awesome that they are finally gonna follow thru with the Z28, its good competition between the companies, plus competition will make for better cars to be made, and everybody wins! But i would think that the ls9 in a cheaper marro would impact the sales of the zr1? what do you think?

what is a detuned ls9??? a fully forged less than 8-9lbs motor?? basically it is an lsa, which is in the caddy and is not forged and has the tvs1900 blower, not the tvs2300.
Well Camaro’s never make the same power as Corvettes even if they have basically the same motors
he said a detuned ls9 ,the z has always been the little brother of the vette so who knows .it may very well be the lsa just for cost factors

ford wins in sales because they are cheap, plain and simple. ford is cheaper than gm, cars trucks and suv’s they are all cheaper…u also get what you pay for, the interior in damn near every gm vehicle ive been in, is ten times more comfortable and ten times better in style than any comperable ford model…
