So this would be covered by the original Chevy factory warranty or the Basil Engines For Life warranty?
If you are interested in the vehicle please come in and we can discuss the particulars of the warranty. This car is going to make someone very happy.
I’m sorry. I was just confused as in my past experience the manufacturer’s factory powertrain warranty doesn’t cover when modifications are made. Wondering if times / restrictions have changed?
Typical salesman. Wont answer a question or even know the answer. Somehow every modded car is “covered” with the warranty until it needs service.
Don’t be fucking sketchy, @Kramer.
Post up a video clip! I bet it sounds nasty.
I can do that shortly,
As for warranty you will get the factory bumper to bumper. As well as our engines for life program. There is a few restrictions for example if the non GM cam were to fail and take the motor with it that would not be covered. If anyone is interested please come in!
$47,990.00 bump
Let me just stretch payments out 120 months and then maybe, just maybe… LOL
Car looks amazing. GLWS.
Was this car owned by one of the Buffalo Bills?
I know you keep saying there is a warranty you
will never get GM to warranty the drive train on this
the dealership has a lot of pull on what is covered. bump for a beautiful.
Hmmmmmm…
Dave should chime in here. If the dealer pushed gm to cover it they will, especially a big of dealer as basil is. I remember lnd misl getting a new engine and tranny and was running 10s with a 99 vette
Yea but when he did that I thought he put it back to stock
The whole concept of a dealership providing a warranty based on “we’ve got a lot of pull” to me is like saying “don’t worry about the assault charges, my attorney has a lot of pull”. If I got a warranty and something “went bad” I’d like to know what is covered and what is not…in writing. I’m pretty sure my Basil “Engines for Life” warranty doesn’t cover any engine that has been modified from stock in any way. Going to read it again later tonight.
They must have some “pull” getting this to pass inspection too. Maybe I can bring my car in to your store.
Why wouldn’t it pass inspection?
You can do everything listed and retain of the emissions equipment.
Seems kind of foolish to put big headers on and exhaust and then leave cats in. Especially making this much power. But maybe it still has them.
People put headers with high flow cats on these things(LS3 cars) and with a blower/meth make anywhere from 550-800rwhp+
You can keep cats and still make great power.
