Headed out to the Log Cabin last night from pendleton, ride wasnt TOO bad, we followed a groomer after clarence all the way to rt 5. Heading up to Tug this weekend to get some more miles in while theres decent snow up there.
Haven’t been out and really don’t care to get out. I’m just tired of the cold.
Launched from my house and met a couple friends at Eden VFW, then a ride through N. Collins and back to Eden to stop at Schunks Grille for some wings. Was a little nippy but not bad. Trails were in surprisingly good shape and even though the fields were thin, they were pretty smooth. Saw at least two groomers and they are doing a great job with what they have to work with.
Shockwave and I hit the webster / williamson trails for a few hours tonight. 56 miles.
Webster south of ridge is thin but rideable. Williamson is icey but pretty smooth. Makes for some fast riding! The area definitely needs more snow but what is there is not bad and I’m happy to enjoy some local riding.
[/QUOTE]Did some riding in Marilla, Alden and Wales last night…conditions were decent lots of ice spots.
Need more base out this way but I’m just glad we have some snow on the ground again.
Hopefully the rain predicted Saturday is really light.
Who did the wrap on your sled? Custom or pre made? Looks good
Temperature prediction keeps going up, 42 here tomorrow. Not looking good. Hopefully next week’s winter storm prediction becomes a reality to make up for it.
I just sent Jay a message stating this, but I am seeing early predictions or a major storm next week. I’ll try to dig up a solid link, but I know it’s super preliminary.
Snowmobiling has turned me into a hobbyist weatherman
All customized, I created the initial drawing and worked with a guy up on Ransomville from Just Sled Wraps (owner David Just). It came out really good and applied it myself, took some time but not too hard.
Have the final print image he used if you want to see more detail.
Went out last night, left from my cousins house in hamburg, rode to tombstone on 240 going through the ridge. Other than the power lines in hamburg and some spots though the woods conditions were pretty good. I was expecting to see mud but we didn’t see any, we were going to head to Zoar valley but my cousins track seemed like it was loose.
Either way did about 50 miles, had a good time, not too many people out

Lots of closings today in anticipation of the rain and trying to preserve the base until temps drop Sunday. Check before you ride, but I know Marilla and NESS closed.
Holland closed at midnight too.

Yeah that’d be cool, a couple of my buddies are looking to get a wrap done… Never knew about this guy. Thanks
Truth. Most used app on my phone is the Weather Channel app.
Webster & Williamson closed yesterday to preserve the base.
Today we hit the road at 6am and headed to Tug Hill for a second week in a row. A few buddies were headed up so we decided last minute to join them. Dropped in Happy Valley and did about 100 miles, stopped for lunch at Tuggers then made our way down through Pulaski. GPS said 160 miles total trip. Sleds said 168, lol track spin.
Happy Valley trails and some of the Pulaski secondary trails were great but the main loop was beat by noon.
If any of you guys go up there and want to avoid the main loop the Barnes Corner/Winona/Pulaski trails have been pretty good the last couple times we’ve been up there. They’re off the main loop and get less traffic.
I’m at about 525 miles for the season so far.
I would definitely recommend his shop again, call David @ 807-9536. Most big name wrap companies your going to spend ~$400 for a wrap and he was half the price with the same high-quality vinyl/clear gloss with full UV and gas spill protection. He is totally open to any creative ideas and can add any logo/pics/etc you want.
Please don’t copy wrap, spent some time creating this and want it to be one-off.
The winter storm watch is calling for 6-10" over the entire region. Not as much as we were hoping for but maybe enough to get things opened back up again.
Looks cool. how much snow would you think they have up there…average? Look like a good season for them?
