No mention of a M version but for now this is a pretty cool release for the states
A 335i powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine and rated at 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque should also be offered for power hungry buyers.
I wish they had made these from the get-go… I’d love to scoop up a used one in the 20’s. New BMWs are too rich for my blood. 328 turbo sounds good for my needs. A little tuning on the turbo 4-banger will probably wake it right up.

By screw us, you mean a small segment of enthusiast. Not the country as a whole. They produce what the market demands or emissions force them to provide.
If the majority (or enough to justify production) wanted stick wagons. They would have offered it.
I have a co-worker who rants about the lack of wagons daily (family owns a Malibu Maxx and Pontiac Vibe) and think GM has a evil agenda against the wagon and wants to force everyone into SUVs.
It would be the N55 motor and they more than likely will not offer stick either is my guess.
I have to kinda disagree with the above statement. Every car company makes something stupid and wastes money on tons of BS in comparison to offering a wagon model or allowing a customer to order a manual trans. that a customer would actually want.
Audi is even cutting the wagons and the manual trans offering, and it boggles my mind why they do it. I feel like they have sold a pretty good amount of allroads and avants over the years.
They waste money on halo cars that people want but can’t afford.
I wish you could get any engine / trans combo on any car.
Nissan proved they would build it, if there is enough demand to justify the cost of development and setting up production (Juke GTR).
I a gree with him. I think that there’s still a stigma in regards to wagons for most 'Mericans, and from what I understand the profit margins on SUV’s are a lot higher than most other vehicles.
