Cooter, we leave from meps this thursday. I don’t know if somehow thats odd, but it was stated that way in my contract way back in january and I know of 2 other guys going down tomorrow night for this…
u kno, i remember a while back i watched something in the History Channel or whatever and it was about all of the different Millitary boot camps…i remember something about them all getting there on a school bus in the middle of the night and the drill sergents just ripping them apart as they got off the bus. after thinking about that, i have a lot more respect for ya will.
air force and army might be different…lol
I rememeber when i arrived to bootcamp it was like 11pm and it was dead silent and all of a sudden 5 drill instructors stormed out the door screaming…im like what the fuck did i get myself into

Well, I got a couple minutes on a computer down here in Ft. Benning, GA… Its all going well so far, I havent fucked up yet and I shot the “best” in the platoon on friday. Not that it means anything, but out M16 qualifications are on wednesday. 8 more weeks to go!

Well, finally graduated from OSUT on friday… Ive got my Blue Cord now and Im finally Army infantry. Now i get to spend 3 weeks at Airborne school and if all goes well, 3 MORE weeks at RIP. Ive got some freedom now, though, so Ill be around.
