hey, im looking for a shifter for a 240, but not for the SR20DET engine. has to be for the KA. Supposedly its the same as my 87 300ZX NA, so it SHOULD fit in my car. if anyone knows of one, can you let me know? thanks!
SR and KA trannies use the same shifter. Both will work.
so a short shifter for a SR “should” work on my 87 NA ZX?
Well if you were told a KA one will fit, an SR one will work too. Same thing.
If the KA shifter will work then yes, the SR shifter will work too. Same with CA.
Are you looking for a stock shifter or a short shifter? I have a stock one lying around…
For the record, the RB20DET will not work with SR/CA/KA
the vg30e uses an almost identical tranny as the sr and ka, so yes either will work and then you = teh winner!
