Looking for a 240sx roller for cheap. Don’t have much cash due to twins on the way but want a roller so I can redo everything, swap and s15 front clip. I have some things to trade, sled, subs, will add cash on top for the right car.
these are getting hard to find in reasonable shape.
might be better off chasing a granny car down south and driving it back up.
Yeah I’ve noticed from looking on craigslist. A few years back they were everywhere when I had my rx7 but seems like I can’t find much anywhere. I’d be willing to travel that’s not an issue, but just seeing if there were any local.

I dont mind body repairs at all, in fact thats what im looking for mostly is something that needs work. I want to redo the whole motor and all. I know im going to put more into it than what its worth but its more of taking the credit in doing it all yourself.
doing body work on a rotted car isn’t worth it… pay an extra $500 and get something halfway south and save yourself months of headaches.
rotted projects are the ones that don’t get finished 
Well as long as the shell is in halfway decent shape and the frame is good I won’t mind. I’ve sold all my toys and really want to find a project. I only work 3 days out of the week and need to find something to do on my off time. It’d be more money but I’d love to redo the whole engine and all. I’ve searched everywhere and theses cars have been a lot harder to find.

Well finally got back from a 2.5 hr drive. Got lucky and found a decent 240 from North Carolina. Car has no rust at all, all frame rails are in better condition than most newer cars I see. Has some dents but that’s not an issue. Biggest problem is that it has the original motor and has no compression on cylinder 4. Was told its a burnt valve. But would like to swap with a sr20 sometime in the near future. I’ll post some pics soon.
