I find it ironic how we’ve shifted our stance, welcome to the middle class. You now seem to be saying (more less) what I was saying in Texas Roadhouse when you were pleading your Native American case. I’m now saying (more less) what you were saying about America’s predatory behavior and it’s effect on certain groups. Guess what…we are becoming that certain group, I feel it’s best to acknowledge & attempt to alter our path as much as humanly possible. Ignorance is only bliss till you surface from having your head in the sand and reality is waiting to smack you upside the head.
My perception is that the second amendment is my pistol permit.
I am going to go out on a limb and say there are at least 12 other guys like this guy :)…

The military wouldn’t squash a coupe? Worded differently, the military wouldn’t defend the country from a band of domestic terrorists carrying out unprovoked acts of violence against our citizens and elected officials? I don’t see the military siding with rebels any time soon. Things will have to get a lot worse first. Bottom line is things here are fucked up, but they’re not that bad. Do you still get to vote? Does that vote still mean something? If you answer yes, then put your gun down. There’s no need for revolution.
Ehhh, yes I can vote but its picking between two shitty people. So I’d say it doesn’t mean anything.
But yes, I can still pick who I want to ruin this country.
Voting has become a joke in this country.
2 sets of talking points but the same lobbyist puppeteers pulling the strings after election. People say “voting 3rd party is throwing your vote away”. I say the the 2 mainstream parties are funded by the same crooks so they are really 1 party and you’re throwing your vote away there. Vote alternate party, vote for the candidate with the least “campaign contributions” (aka bribes) as they will come with less strings and a greater chance of being for the people. This lobbyist nonsense must stop or we have no hope for a better future as I see it.

Surveys have found that Americans are deeply dissatisfied with Congress. As recently as three months ago, the Gallup organization found that 90 percent of Americans disapproved of the way Congress was handling its job. A Rasmussen Reports survey found that just 8 percent think Congress is doing a good job. A New York Times/CBS News Poll survey published in February 2010 found that 80 percent of Americans believe members of Congress were more interested in serving special interests than the people they represent.
Under these circumstances, you would expect that 90+ percent of the Members of Congress would have lost their jobs in the recent election. But instead, 91 percent of those who ran for re-election won! If ever there was an indication that democracy in American is broken, this is it.
Until we get serious about campaign finance reform you might as well wipe your ass with that ballot as turn it in.
Throw in independent redistricting nationwide with that campaign finance reform. The majority of seats in Congress are designed to keep the incumbent in for life, and the only thing they ever have to worry about is a primary challenge if they aren’t hyper-partisan enough. As of 2010 the districts are worse than ever. Talk about counter-productive…
