there was at least 10K there. Entire park was full, with people going down the sidewalks and across the street near the other buildings on both sides. not to mention the multitude of people that remained indoors.
JVG and I were right up within feet of the speakers tent next to the senators and Remington workers. Did not care one bit standing in the morning rain to be there in that crowd. Everyone spoke quite well, Greg Ball is someone I have new respect for, and that little girl who sang God Bless America brought tears to the eyes of many there.
Glad to be there and I’ll do it again.
I agree man, Greg Ball was awesome. Girl singing was definitely a tear jerker!

Awesome pics Steve. The one with the little girl holding the sign with her sister and dad (maybe even grandparents in the same shot) actually made me tear up. The look of dissapointment on her face says it all. She is probably old enough to understand just enough of whats going on to be heartfelt holding that sign.
