2nd chance financing companies

Ever since I put my car on autotrader (about a week ago) Ive had 2-3 phone calls from companies that claim to match buyers with sellers. They pretty much guarantee to have your car sold in 2-8 weeks based on some amount of demand they think they have. The catch is of course, you have to pay a hefty advertising fee of something like $300+. They say you well get exactly what your asking price is because people that cant get financing elsewhere on cars over 4 years old get the loan they need through these types of companies. Anybody every sign up for one of these thing? Are they legit? Seems weird to me…

What else seemed weird (im asking 13995 btw) and they said it was a little low and that I should be asking 15995. If I did, and it actually sold for that, they make out better on interest which is the only reason theyd ask me to raise the price I assume. One of the websites they gave me was onestopmotors.com.

Any thoughts?

Dont…

.

do not

any particular reasons or just dont.

it’s pretty much a scam… google the company… most of these places take your money then never really help sell it…

when you bitch later on they’ll say you’re asking too much, the economy is bad, etc etc…

it’s also a selling strategy for them to say to you: “you should be asking more”… if that was true it would be sold already… you don’t make a car sell faster by raising the price

Let me google that for you…

They have tons of scam reports and complaints. Look them up.

i was really skeptical to begin with, just wanted to confirm it.

Tell them you will pay them their fee when they bring you a buyer

^^^^ thats what I told them once.lol they said no
