if you had 30,000 to spend what car would you buy for a daily driver n why
looking for a car to last 4-5 years but still be a good daily…
need more options, any performance wanted? Or more gas millage oriented? Preference on fwd/auto/rwd? Used or new? Too many options you didnt name.
The way shit is now I would just rock a Forester, still half decient millage, AWD and potential to be an STI killer if you really care.
Used, well if i was going used it would be a 6th gen civic due to gass millage and save the rest of the money for a house or something.
If I wanted to go balls out, Evo 9.
I’d probably buy something in the 20’s and put 10 into it
reliable: 07+ honda accord/civic
awd: used sti/evo, new wrx/forester
TBSS
Well A used diesel for 27 and put 3 into it would be pretty cool…
but if i wanted something fast and still be DD able. it would be an 03-04 cobra. They spit out craxy numbers on pump with very little mods. and there under 30K
new cars under 30? ehh i dont think i would buy any
30k can get a lot of car. it really depends on what you want to get, and if you want to get new or lightly used. performance or not, and on and on.
they might be a bit more than 30k, but i really like the lexus is 250 or 350. something on the lower cost end, with decent performance and good looks is the new GTO.
Probably the lexus is250 awd. I’ve seen them used for under 30k. Or a an Altima coupe with the 3.5 v6. For some reason I really like the new honda accord coupes as well.
Another WS6.
altima
restored 1959 Impala hardtop, then bag it & big wheels. I’d be over 30K, but I could always enjoy it for a bit before baggin’ it. Not a good DD, though.
Now for a DD…
SUV - ‘07 (new body style)Tahoe/Yukon/Avalanche/Denali or Escalade if I could find one that low.
Truck (tow pig) - Ford Super Duty Deisel ext cab/8’ bed 4x4; or even 2wd dually 4dr (I can bag it & put a set of 22" big rig wheels on it)
Performance - C5 Z06; Cobra S/C; SRT10 Ram; 2004-2006 GTO (again - I miss it)
Luxury - Infiniti G35; older style Infiniti M45; older Lexus LS400/430
zoomer - 2007/2008 Civic Si coupe; 2008 WRX Hatch; used 1998 - 2001 Subaru 2.5RS (then a complete STi drivetrain to make it fun)
Most, if not all of these are used, because you cannot buy much for $30k new these days.
That would be a hard choice. It would probably be between an Evo, an STI, a Mazdaspeed3 and a TSX. I would probably get the TSX though because it would be the most reliable.
~2000 BMW M5…
If you make enough coin to pay for brakes and other maintenance, it would be a pimp daily.
bmw 1 series not out till spring but awesome
well 30 k totall to spend. after trade in and financing.
So far the gto is the best bet but still waiting to see what the G8 brings.
Would prefer a 2 door something decently quick nothing crazy.
Has anyone heard anything good about the g37 ? or is that still outta the price range ? Its gotta be able to deal with in traffic and run at least 14.00 sec 1/4 or faster
CTS V
