The only way to get into an Elise for that price is to get a salvage title car, due to how that car is put together that’s a very poor idea, most moderate accidents can not be safely repaired.
i like the c6 zo6 better.
I’d buy an MR-S Spyder for about 13K, spend 6-7K on a 2ZZ swap w/ 6 spd, TRD suspension, wheels, and tires.
Then, I’d take 7K and buy a decent Spec V for daily driving.
