Not exact science but yea…steel brake line can act as high amp fuse replacement. It was common practice to use it as bus fuse replacement on old MGB’s and Sprites(damn british wiring SUCKED BALLS) :lol I have no idea what rating it really holds, was just making a funny…

just a dumb comment but… if you pop a 300amp fuse, you might have a problem. I mean was the starter motor siezed and you just held the key for over an hour? some shit is not right in your wiring.
