Well, the time is finally right.
It’s warm enough to be outside for an extended duration, and take the engine out of my front clip.
This is on short notice, but I’ll be spending all of Sunday, April 29, 2007 pulling apart just about everything that I can get my hands on and I would like some help to get everything disassembled. Goal for me is to have the engine seperate from the frame by the time night rolls around.
The front clip is between Markham Rd and McCowan road, south of 16th and North of Hwy7. Somewhere in the middle of all those roads but nearest I can probably pinpoint is Markham Rd (Main St) and Hwy 7 in Markham.
Give me a call if you’re able to make it out. Drinks and food all day on me. Bring your own tools if you have any.

BTW, some may consider this an extension to the last lend-a-hand thread I posted, but you won’t have to worry about getting out any of the Refrigerant. I think I can take the engine out without purging the system.

if this is a JDM clip you had shipped here then it should not have any fluids in it
at all. oil and coolant ect. would be considerd hazerdous material. they would not ship
the car like that.
They must’ve found a way around it. It is filled with all fluids. Oil, Coolant, Power steering, brake fluid etc etc.
It’s in my Aunts house right now and I promised her I wouldn’t get any oil on her garage floor so I haven’t spent time yet trying to drain those fluids.
Sorry, already took them off and converted my car from 26mm rotors to 30mm rotors. If you’re willing to take the 26mm rotors we can discuss a price.
Patrick, I’ll try to make it out. I’m experiencing a small coolant leak issue so I’ll have to confirm tomorrow morning. Is it possible to post some directions? I’m not that familiar with that area. Cheers,

Johns car is NICE. More inspiration to go twinturbo.
It pulls HARD. Of course moreso than my car, but then he hits around 5500RPM and I guess the turbos kick in full force so it snapped my head back. Too bad he let off within a second of the turbos kicking in.
Anyway, I’m there again today and I’ll be there for sure maybe next Sunday or Saturday.
Anyone up to help me finally lift the engine out of the shell or the shell off of the engine?
Sorry man. Officially yesterday Vlad said he was going to take them. There was some back and forth about it since I got the clip but they were rightfully his from when we went to look at the clip together.
Yeah, it was an amazing turnout. And I’m extremely thankful to everyone that came. It’s the front of my Aunts house actually. I can only wonder what the neighbours were saying the whole day. There were two Skylines that kept driving by. The rest of the day it was like every other car were modified cars or a porschas. Impressive street for sure.
And about the “drinking” with the cap on. Yeah, I know its not possible. Just posing. I was tips when that took place.
Help you say? I have 4L of oil, a pedal set, and some various other part lying around cause of you.
