300zx front rack and pinion steering boot

Hey the boot has totally ripped apart in 3 rings now. My mechanic says it’s ok to drive he’s gonna work on it on thurs what do u guys think? can I still drive it lightly for the time being? how badly will a light amount of dust screw up my rack and pinion

I have both of my boots broken on my sentra for like a year now and havent noticed any problems. There probably are but for like $370 or something like that I said fcuk that for now.

yea… I drive a 300zx so it’s rwd… the boot cost me about 150 dollars including labor… but thanx for the advice at least I know know that it not a fix right away trouble
