I’ve had this TV since 2009 and it is actually really good quality. I was surprised considering it’s an Insignia.

Physically, it’s in perfect condition. The only issue is that it will not fire up anymore. Before it completely stopped, I would have to cycle it 2-3 times before it actually turned on. (Cycle = press power, wait, unplug it, try again)

This can be repaired, but I don’t have the time nor inclination to bother with it. I have another TV anyway. So if anyone wants to take it off my hands and give a whirl, come and get it.

Hmmmm…A continuation of Arrow’s almost flawless TV repair post? Same symptoms as my LG Plasma. Could be another $ 12.00 capacitor kit and a skilled solderer…unlike myself. Are you in South America…Paulo?

That’s likely exactly what it is. I just don’t care to fix it.
