For those curious, here is the plan and the conservative estimates:
Currently: 328whp
Revised Plenum and Intake: 330whp
E-Vac system with catch can: 333whp
12.3:1 +1mm compression pistons, rods, ARP main studs, revup or nismo oil pump (pistons are the only thing making power here, everything else is to support higher RPM): either 0whp if it blows up, or 349whp (it’ll be 1hp shy of 350 just to piss me off)
Lower intake manifold work or replacement: 355whp at the expense of some midrange torque
Larger Cams: 360whp at the expense of more midrange torque
Competition valve job/headwork: 368whp
My goal for the 2010 season is 350-360whp.
We still have to race the quarter mile again. With the power I should be at and the power you will be at, both with suspension setups that are the WORST for drag racing. I’m going to beat you
