3rd '07 Track Day?

[quote=“Quattro Krant,post:20,topic:33416"”]

I’d do atleast suspension and pads. I was out in a stock 1.8weak A4 Wagon with suspension and pads and I had a blast.

I took my saturn out and it is 100% stock except for napa premium pads, and I was pulling about 1 car on you per lap for about 30 min in the middle of the day.

IMO stock cars can be more fun for drivers with less expierence bcause things happen slower and you have more time to think.

edit: I will pay now for trackday 3

I’m in for another day. I will also pay more for Sat.

Bone Stock Z06 held up fine…Killing a battery doesn’t count.

does soooooo, how many are we up too, and what is the price hike for sat?

IN

I would definately be in, rather pay more for a saturday too if they are available.

Personally, I’d rather work Saturday then goto the track, especially if Saturday costs more money. So if it’s a saturday, likely count me out.

I’d rather do a Friday afternoon. :gotme: I can’t wait till saturday.

As with the above I too am curious how much more it cost for saturday.

any chance at running at night?

Based on the prices on the Autodrome site, I’d say a Saturday evening would be about $75-80 per car for a 24 car field. That’s 5pm to 8pm.

No because of the noise issues with neighbors.

If it’s still gonna be evening, then I guess I don’t really care, and the extra $$$ is not a big deal. Also, if we get into a time crunch (having to pay a month in advance) I am willing to pay more if there is a smaller group. ( 12 people at $100)

word.

I vote for a thursday, because it’s cheaper. Charge $60 and require less cars. this will make the event more likely to happen. I would also allow up to 30 cars since we never hit the limit of 12 cars on track.

also, run the first half of the event forwards (because it’s slower), and run the second half backwards…

backwards was so much more fun then I thought it would be.

also, since we know them pretty well now let’s try to get them to give us an extra hour at the start for free because we’re good customers.

As long as this is mid or late September I should have time to be ready. I can’t do it on a Saturday if the noise will be an issue. My car is loud.
