so your comparing the slowest yeared camaros to a contemporary sti, and your magazine racing. HA. how about contemporary to contemporary. LS1 to ur holy STI. most DECENT ls1 drivers get around 13.0 stock with some practice. ur sti (according to ur magazine racer specs) is a high 13 to 14 second car. wow thats hauling ass.
on another note, ive seen these cars in action in the real world, and no sti ive seen keeps up with a ls1 camaro, stock to stock. hell i raced my buddy from HS stock to stock and it wasnt even close. but im sure ill be put in my place by some more magazine racers that think they know everything.

even though this has been all amusing, i really don’t understand where all this hatered from both ends is coming from. it went from people assclowning to an import vs domestic bashing. personally neither is better then the other, i mean what the difference between a focus or a civic or a supra and an fbod. they both fall into the same damn classes ultimately. stereo types are bullshit and i’m happy to say i have friends on both sides of the fence and not one person is better then the other in my book.

I would say its very possible with a good driver and an Intake/Exhaust mods and a really really good 60ft time to run a 13.1 but I find it highly doubtful you did it your first time out.
