I was skateboarding at delaware part a lil after midnight last night and heard gunshots coming from the East side I would guess? Then some cop cars and an ambulance. Decided it was time I should go home. The I got to watch a gnarly storm from my garage!

BUFFALO, N.Y. - A community activist tells 2 On Your Side that members of rival gangs had an altercation inside the City Grill before Saturday’s shooting that left four people dead.
The source, who preferred to remain anonymous, said that he was told there were members of one group with the wedding party inside the bar, when a few members of a rival gang tried to come in. A fight broke out, and one of the men trying to come in was beaten up and thrown out. A short time later the D-J stopped the music, the lights came up and the bar was cleared.
According to our source, the man who was thrown out earlier had gone to his car and returned with a gun. 8 people were shot, four of them fatally.
Buffalo Police updated the media and the community Monday morning. Both Brown and Derenda say more and more tips are coming in, they still need people who were there that night to speak out about what they saw.
“We are appealing to you, appealing to you,” pleaded Mayor Brown, "to come forward and share what you know.
Commissioner Derenda said the department is working around the clock to find the person responsible for the deadly carnage. In addition, the Mayor announced that Governor David Paterson has offered the state’s assistance in the investigation. The Mayor said he has accepted that offer and will provide further details on what that includes at a later time.

So a few of the ways they’re talking about responding to this is to close bars at 1am instead of 4am, and put a “paddy wagon” down on the chip-strip. WTF?

I don’t think the bar closing time change can happen since that’s en Erie County Wide thing, but a “paddy wagon” might actually encourage people, lol.
Either way it’s all reactionary talk with people scrambling for answers when source of the problem is something you can’t fix: stupid people doing stupid things.
Changing the closing time to 1am would not help a damn thing. It’s not going to stop these people from being out together causing shit. If anything, bullshit will just happen a couple hours sooner.
