tv is 4 months old i just decided to go bigger great tv for a low price. also if youre interested in a blu ray player with your purchase i can throw my extra one in: (see here) http://nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80132&highlight=blu+ray+player for an extra $100 bucks.

if you sit closer than 6 feet then yes you sure do need 1080p but of course for the rest of us 720p is more than sufficient for watching television.
