Who’s going to the Misery Bay Region event at Lake Erie Speedway? I’m most likely going to be there (barring major mechanical issues with the car, which are always possible at the last minute). I was planning on meeting up at the Tim Hortons on Main in the Walker Center (near 290). Who’s down?

Guess what - it runs worse now. Tried to install the skunk2 manifold and now I have some vacuum leak, and a severe lack of power throughout the powerband (and that’s not because it’s a Honda :smash2: ). I’m out

On one hand it would be mad fun racing around a giagantic asphalt bowl, on the other hand its 80 miles away… i dont know where im going… and if it dosent change nobody from our region is going to be there.

Its a huge oval with a figure 8 in the middle. The course is made to incorporate pie sections of the oval but utilizes the infeild as well.
The track is a nascar sanctioned track… so yeah its as oval and banked as oval and banked get.
Im still contemplating going just to feel what slingshotting out of a banked section feels like…
very cool place to run. Banked turns are weird. Also, I should just paint a mouth on my front bumper because I ate a lot of cones. Jim, if you’re reading this, I think I’m the new leader in WNY region for cone killer award. I think I got 13 today. Maybe a few more/less. So that should definately put me in contention.
Oh and Dale was VERY FAST today.
