Reading their commentary for the Explorer reminds me of why Time is the only magazine that I was getting for free that I actually called and canceled my subscription to.

The commentary is awful. You really just can’t say “50 worst cars.” You need to further define it, i.e. fifty worst in terms of sales, performance, styling, whatever.
Bad choices:
Model T: sure it was ugly, but it was dead reliable. How can you compare it to the Yugo?
H2: I find it amusing how people love to hate the H2. Sure I think driving it is pure conspicuous consumption. But commercially it is an overwhelming success. GM found a way to use existing componentry to build an ugly vehicle with bad aerodynamics, low mpg, and less than stellar interior room that people will pay a premium price.
