6 Hours of detailing (pics)

Been busting my ass on my day off, used rubbing compound on almost the entire car, dont think it has ever had any before, got rid of a bunch of scuffs, roadgunk, swirl marks, random wear and tear, hit it with some Meguirs afterwards, the car was oiled years ago and now it has a powdery oil/dirt residue on it, spent a ton of time cleaning it out of the door jams, nooks and crannies underhood ect

I will eventually get it off of everywhere, even the frame and floors, I will have to pull some shit underhood to really get the inner fenders and all of that… the shit will take forever but it will be worth it when finished

Popped off the taillights and cleaned them and the mess behind them, pulled the airbox and shit, it needs a new filter badly, cleaned the MAF and also the TB

I am VERY anal with my cars and eventually the shit will be spotless

I havent cleaned the glass yet or dug into the interior at all

I will try and get outdoor daylight pics over the weekend, the weather the last days has blown

enjoy

yeah all 94-96 Impala aftermarket stuff works on it, Suncoast even makes a Ram Air hood that fits it

Think this would give it a little more get up and go?

with all that room in the front of the car, why would you put turbos in the ass? been there, done that, put them/it up front. trust me

All the superchargers for F bodies can be fab’d up to use on these cars as well, and of course you could do a Lt4 conversion to it, T56 swap, drop some NOS on it, lots of possibilities

so fresh and so clean clean

if you are going to change the motor do something cool.

785hp and 1300 ft lbs torque, should make the fat pig move.

that is why you NEED to start the trend.

Definitely cleaned up nice!

if you made the swirl marks disappear, they’ll probably reappear within a few weeks. You probably just filled them in with oils from the products you used. The only way to really get rid of them is by using abrasives and a machine polisher. Looks good though.

I really just don’t like the look of these cars, never have. But you certainly cleaned it up all pretty like.

beautiful roadmaster  always loved those boats
