not the best idea to T off the BOV or wastegate vacuum line. Should definitely have the wastegate with its own line. Everything else looks good though. Congrats on finishing it.
What happened to the silvia front end?
im new. where can i run these vac lines from so i can give the wastegate its own?
he traded the hood for a stock front end, then sold the rest.
[edit] fixed
Why not pull the fuses and check. There should be a 7.5 amp fuse in there smehwere.
It’s prolly blown
yah shes good now.
thanks to dylan btw. he helped a lot to get this beast on the road.
Word homie

If I’m not mistaken, on the stock SR manifolds, theres 2 vacuum ports on the throttle body/intake near the throttle body that have manifold vacuum. Run 1 directly to the wastegate, and then T off the other one and use for BOV and whatever else (although i wouldn’t suggest running more than 2 things off a single vacuum line unless you absolutely need to).
ty sir. ill take a peek.
and me i helped just a little tho :P… not much at all haha
both of yall helped me a shit ton.
ok so i just looked at my setup, for the wastegate, the best thing to do (which i completely forgot, lol) is tap into the intercooler piping closest to the turbo and put a vacuum fitting in the piping (it doesn’t need to read vacuum obviously, so the IC piping is fine). This ensures the best response from the wastegate to prevent boost spikes. For mine, i just went to crappy tire and bought a 2.5" ID muffler pipe and tapped the fitting into that so i didnt have to screw up any expensive intercooler piping, and stuck it on my hot side.
