hey

i knew about this site for a while now but ive never realized that there is a forum…oops ](*,)

but anyway, my name is cal, and i own an 1989 240 coupe. bought the car 3 years ago with 170k on the stock motor…with an auto tranny…lol
i bought the car planning an sr swap in the future because the body and everything is mint…even though that day has not yet come i still have wishful thinking :roll:

so far ive gotten the car painted pearl white, do-luck front end, 5zigen typhoon rims, tein/kyb suspension, and a malbro hi-flow pump…motor is still stock…waiting for it to go, its currently at 250k…so knock on wood!!!

i will b at dx2 tomorrow so i will see some of you out there

i hope to come out to the meets sometime but im still 18 so the bar thing is out…

that was the plan until i had to go and buy a piston kit…ill be getting spacers this summer

I was involved in a flame fest a few years ago with members like Grey_GandalfS14 and Bomex…lol. Still have Pm’s from that one.

Flame fest was about running straight pipe on turbo cars. Can’t seem to find it though. This was back in November 2002.

lol yeah I remember that, I’m less pissed when guys run straight pipes now but it doesn’t mean I’m going to be throwing out my cat anytime soon.

how much would you normally spend all together with a s14 redtop w/ fuel pump, injectors (550cc) and down pipe, ecu?? (and everything else stock)

i have around 10g’s canadian to spend… and i know that i want to go for speed and handling first b4 any ricing of the car :lol: thanks for your input.

The Hemi is nothing special in fact there are many Hemi engines out there including the RB class of Nissan engines. All a hemi is doing it having a hemi spherical shaped combustion chamber with the spark plug located dead center in the top. In therory this will give a more even burn and provide more power. So the Hemi is really not somthing I would brag about. If I owned a skyline I would love to go up to some guy in a Hemi powered truck and say “Mines got a HEMI too lol”

I used to own a Red '95 240, but lost it in a trajic rear ending-BOO.I also had a green '95 240, which I also lost a number of years ago. I currently have 2 Fieros, and '86 banger daily driver, and an’85 GT in the garage with low ks for sunny days. I am looking for a '97 or '98 black LE 5spd, preferably with low ks. Any info would be greatly app!
