yes you can. I do.
60k in buffalo. in a place like NYC or LA you wouldnt even want a nice car. and i doubt a house would be anywhere close to the price of one here in buffalo. and sitting in traffic all day would blow ass
i disagree with that statement as well.
60k in Buffalo…
Disagree all you want, but you don’t have any idea what I’m talking about. For example: the next boat I’m going to buy will cost at least $5000 a year to store and maintain.
This is the reason I love these threads…
Im xx inches youd you are only x inches
Stop bragging, no one cares!
Live in an area like WNY but live close enough to a city for that lifestyle.
Me - Live in Vermont…Montreal 1 hr away…Boston 3 hours away…
Nobody’s bragging, I said I couldn’t live here on $60k, he said I could. If he could, great, I don’t give a fuck. But don’t tell me I can, only I know that.
well, you can live comfortably in buffalo, without a boat, for 60k. happy?
pick a place you want to live, not where you want to work. unless your life is work. then it doesn’t matter.
100k in NYC “combined income” is nothing. if you have someone living with you (gf) that makes about 70-80 or som your combined would be 170-180k, that would make sense.
Yes, as that was my point in the first place. I could not enjoy the lifestyle I enjoy now if I lived in LA, or NYC, or any other big city. I like racing, I like sailing, I like traveling.
30K somewhere else.
100k in wny.
ha
i cant handle traffic
lilfishbigpond!!!
I can’t imagine what would happen if my wife lost her job, she makes double what I make, I would have to start whoring or something.
I’d rather not live in Buffalo or NYC, La ect.
I like living out in the rich burbs now, I’d rather live way out in the sticks tho.
I like to be left alone to play music how I like, work on cars as late as I wish ect.
Im with you there… Ill waste more gas and effort taking a thousand litte shortcuts, that sometimes might not even save time 9 times out of 10 rather than waiting in a jam.
100k in Buffalo sounds like a great idea.
I like the average city, not too big, not too small, St. Louis was perfect, wish I could get back there, cost of livings not bad, nicer weather, decent city atmosphere, up and coming burbs. 60k may cut it there too. No “big” cities for me, although its hard to define because everyone assumes the 2, LA, NYC.
