So Ive been driving past this car for the last couple of days I decided to stop and check it out. So the guy who owns it is the original owner and matching numbers. Its not in bad shape no rust any where. The only problems are it needs the A/C recharged he claims, the doughnut gasket replaced, the dash cover is fucked, and some very minor body work. I doubt Ill buy it mostly because the guy whats $5000 for the car.

Ehhh… I dont know. I just dont see whats worth $5000 here. Anybody have any pics of these cars modified? It looks kinda ugly as it sits in those pics.

I see exactly what your saying. I saw it sitting in this guys yard I was thinking maybe $2500 but he claims if it was all restored it would be worth $7000-$8000 I still dont know where he gets $5000 from other than what the NADA book says

Maybe the dude selling has too much money invested in it already, I dont know man. I’d probably pass on it. Im sure you could find something much cooler for $5000.

a low to mid 60’s galaxie or impala is a much better choice if that is the type of car you are looking for.
