WOW that looks awesome, shame about the plate holes in the front bumper, would look way better smooth.
just picked up a tribeca for the wife… so fucking plush, if it was between that and the sti for a DD i would get the tribeca.
 tribecas are super nice.
Walter is right. The LGT interior is still nicer, but this is a big step up from the older STIs.
I agree wholeheartedly! I totally didn’t mean to knock the STi, just that it wasn’t what I was looking for. SOOOO much better than the first STi I drove back in '04. Just not right for a fuddy duddy w/ a 70 mile commute.
i went last night to west herr. i was approved for the 0 percent, but they wouldnt give me enough on my trade.
Sexy! I love white!
trade in values are in the gutter since new cars are selling soooo cheap. can’t win on both sides
I’m pretty sure I was behind you down Delaware today around 9… Car looks really good… I was the idiot in the black Audi who was behind you…
I saw the same silver 08 STi the other day that I saw months ago at a stop light. I was driving north, he was heading south. I could not believe just how chunky the back section of the car looks, those flares are really not being shown in the pictures too well. Plus, he has the BBS wheels, maybe the offset is lower??? Anyways, I think it looks great, very muscular looking
Yeah, the new sti’s REALLY grew on me. I went from thinking they were ok to now thinking they are extremely muscular/classy at the same time.
With the assumption that you are not trading in a car, and you just get the ~%7300 cash back, what is the total amount that one would finance at 0% for 63 months? Its still around 30k?
This is very interesting…
Standard STI is usually around 34k I beleive. So you might be able to cut down to 27k and finance that.
Would be a rather high monthly payment.
I financed 25k @ 6% when I had my STi. If I was able to put down like 15k or so, this would be quite the affordable dd… I need someone to take me for a spin in theirs so I can see if I like it!
The one I was looking at had the BBS package and listed around $37,700, so with the 7K off, it came to around 33,500 after tax. Financing that with 0 down at 63 months came to 532 a month. If that helps you…
I am not sure there are any 08s left to be had. Once they started this deal they sold pretty quickly. And I believe the money back to the dealers from Subaru ended today.
I love mine by the way and I am very glad I moved up from my 07. As a daily driver this car is much better. We will see if I feel the same way come autocross season.
I got my car which is a BBS packaged car for $30,645 + tax and title.
now that is a fucking deal! I paid 400 less for my 05 when i got it. Congrats man!
Thanks! I paid $1355 MORE for my 07 then I did for my 08 and that loan was at 5.9% and this one is at 0%.
LOL that was me - did you smack that curb?? I have to admit I picarded when I saw you take that turn onto middlesex. Admittedly I didn’t turn into that as much as anticipated either… that snow was pretty friggin deep
Definitely man. I can answer your wonders about autocross… if you stay completely stock and on those stock dunlops, you’ll be a tad bit slower all around, but much quicker through the slalom. Also as much as you feel more comfy driving in straight auto, switch it to auto (-) and get used to it. Also you will probably do 50% of your runs in sport instead of sport (#) by accident, another 25% on top of that with traction control on. Get new rubber, some swaybars, a post it note that says TURN OFF TRACTION CONTROL, PUT IT INTO SPORT SHARP. and you will be kicking ass though
