i said ok, but running 9s in the 1/4 mi is still retardedly fast, and again asked you what dsm is faster stock around a track than the evo

back to the topic. it would be close to impossible to get an f-bod to out handle an evo around a track. stock for stock. modded vs modded. f-bods arent designed to handle the track. OMG the brake bias alone makes me want to cry when thinking of setting up an f-bod for the track. that being said i have seen it…i am not just talking shit…f-bods struggle in the turns what they make up in power for the straights. it is a fact GM didnt design the f-bod to handle, it is a fact that the heritage of the f-bod was a great deal about straight line excitment.
i find people who say that funny. That line may work on some big national/international board, but this is a local board. You will run into 90% of the people you talk to on here. just cuz they sponsor a race doesnt mean they build the cars to win them…ask any marketing savy persn and they will tell you that if you sponsor a series, people will start to associate you product with performance…even when that might not be the case.
i realize that i might have stirred up a bit of domestic recoil here…and i would hate to mix opinion with fact. so i will admit i dont know every race statistic from 1969 to present where a domestic R/R race car beat a P-car mid engine race car or everything/anything else…and for that fact have no ammunition arguing it. so i will keep my opinion of f-body’s being staight line only vehicles… to myself.
