The frame is painted. Thats about it. Once I get the 350 out of the motor home it will start moving smoothly. Work, wet weather, and planning for a wedding is slowing me down.

Subsequently, I found one of those out here in california, rust free for $500.
Thats not the point. Go to the closest car shop that does custom work and tell me how much it would cost to make a custom boxed frame for that rabbit. Or any other car for that matter. And have it aligned(and I don’t mean a wheel alignment)then the body welded to the frame the right way. This isn’t rot. It is light surface rust. To have the 280z done it was going to cost close to 5 grand.

Ok. There has been a little bit of progress. Mostly collecting parts and planning things out. The motor that is going to be used is now out of the motor home and ready for mock up. Things should start to move a little faster. Pics will be posted as soon as some significant progress is made.

I’ll chime in here. I don’t have any tips or tricks, nor do I have any criticism. I think the concept of this build kicks ass. The execution…that’s the tough part, and I wish you well. Please keep this thread updated with pics and such. Thanks.
