Well I postponed the escort GT build for a project I couldn’t refuse for the price, and just to see the look on peoples face when I tell them what I’m doing. Some would think I’m sick in the head. Here is a hint as for what is to come very soon.

Just light surface rust. Cameras at night make rust look real bad. The pics I’m going to post later make the rust look way worse then it is.
i would never touch anything with rust. i hate working with rust, repairing rust, smelling rust, sweeping up rust flakes. everything with rust sucks. have fun with this, i hope that is the worst of the rust

After dealing with old rusty cars I have to agree with this. Spend the extra cash and get something in decent shape unless you have no other choice or you’re a masochist.
i think my saturn build is more out of the ordinary lol. im jfwy man. im always up for a unique build that can potentially be quite nice in the end. good luck!

only thing i can say is to invest in a spot sandblaster, they work wonders if your not cutting the panel out and replacing the metal by welding.
I only care if this is getting a new tdi motor…
