ok so im helping my buddie swap a 7mgte in a cressida but we are kinda stuck any one with any experience with this swap let me know we have a black and orange wire that has no where to go and cant get any info i know im not being to clear but if u may be able to help ill be willing to explain
how did you get the motor to sit in the subframe? My friends isn’t clearing properly, did you go to a MKIII or MKII supra subframe?
we took the pan from the 7mge and put it on the 7mgte and we had to customize the oil pump to relocate it
ahh i see, my friend had a 5mge.
usee the 5mge pan on the 7m there all the same u dont hae to change ur crossmember and what are those wires for or can u get pics
Yeah i am doing the 7mgte/w r154 into my mx73 85 cressida. Its similar swap methods but you guys have it much easier lol. I never dealt with wiring as i got it redone by a wiring specialist.
My buddy put a 2jz in his cressida, the thing looks like crap. You’d think it would be a sleeper but when your running 272 cams with a 3.5 half inch straight pipe and 255s with supra rims, people sort of figure it didnt come from the factory like that. Nobody ever wants to race him… lol
Hes throwing the setup in his SC in the next couple weeks. Cant wait 
uh ill try and get pics its something to to do with a +12v from key i gotta splice a black and red wire onto a black and orange but the black and orange wire has a open end ill try and get pics tonight
well we got it to run and a interesting little fact but the cressida is like 200 pounds lighter then a supra wich i think is pretty cool
