ok so i finally painted my motor…shot the intake with a few coats of clear. engine is painted Ford Blue. now i just gotta get some headers and find enough tim to put the damn thing in!

so its been a real long while… not much really progressed with this ever since i got my new dd. i did manage however to snap a few better pics of the engine in its current state. i also bought a Holley 600 cfm 4 barrel carb for it. and a 93 cobra wing. just gotta weld in some holes drill new ones and paint.
i guess this is your first engine build? not to shabby. one thing i would have done diff was paint the block before the assembly process, its makes a nicer finish. looks good maybe ill see it run soon

yeah its my first… i would have done it that way but i thought it would be easier this way so during the build i wouldn’t have to worry about getting any type of fluids or cleaners on the paint that would eat it off. and since i painted the heads and oil pan all at once i thought it was easier. i still need a clutch and headers and a bunch of misc. parts but if everything goes as planned it should be in and running by end of winter
