well since im forever trying to selling ever car i ever owned. i must say , “im keeping this one”.
well since picking up the car as a bare shell, i throw it together to get it to the H-T meet this yr, but now since there going to be snow on the ground soon, im getting it ready for the winter build.
The story behind the k20 was that it was posted up as a k20a2 ( type S) and so i made an offer than went to go pick it up. found out it was a k20a3 off a ep3 ( 04 civic si) and he just didnt know what he had. i low balled him for making me drive out and renting a truck to get it. now im stuck with it.
Im building/ swaping this motor to be unique than to be fast although i have plans on getting a supercharger for it. im not rich nor have a credit card, just to prove that a kid making 8 bucks an hour can get this swap done.
well here we go, its going to be a long process.

first step i went with was to get all the fuel stuff out the way.
got the fuel set up form andyb crx shell i bought. it has a aeromotive FPR with fuel pressure gauge
and just picked up a skunk2 fuel rail since the stock K series uses a return-less fuel system
honestly, im not aiming for any numbers, but how fun the car would be to have, drive, own. as of right now my budget is 3k, that really how much its going to cost to get the motor in. and whenever i could find another 3k somewhere its most likly going to be for some type of boost.

been to busy putting the winter car together.
just got the base map done today and started the car up, ran like poop for like 5 min then stalled out. now starts up 1/20 times, i hope i didnt mess nothing up.
i give you props for not losing it on the kid who sold you the motor. if i was going to pick up what i thought was an a2 and it was an a3 and i wasted time and money doing so, i would be pissed. how far did you travel? how much did he sell it for?
Motor came from me it came with motor tranny lsd motorsports clutch etc for a whooping $80 complete swap it was running when fine when I took it out besides needing a waterpump. motor is a d15b2 mpi converted.
