Well my wife said i cant have a motorcycle, so im gonna put all my money into a civic lol
Will have some picture of it sometimes soon.
Here a little information on the car.
Car doesnt look the best and i wanted to keep everything as how i got it!
No cosmetic upgrades.
This is going to be as stock as can been build
Im starting off with a 1995 Honda Civic EX Coupe and Automatic.
Brought it to use it as a mpg car but stumbled on a nice wrecked 2002 RSX Type S
So i was like there it is my summer project.
here is what the 2002 RSX Type S Looks like:
The engine ran and started right up
My plan of action
I just started to break down the RSX with prepping it for the motor pull
Will have cherry pick thursday to pull it and then also pull the D16
Yesterday i ordered all the parts for the swap…hefty price tag when you add it all up
Hybrid Racing EG/k20 Axles
Hybrid Racing EG/k20 Motor Mounts
Hasport EGWK Conversion Harness
Walbro 190/255 Fuel pump
Hybrid Fuel line Kit / BDL Fuel Rail / Aeromotive FPR
Honda-Power Clutch Line
Karcept Shifter Mount
Harsport Hose Adapter
Perma Cool Oil cooler
That is 80% of the swap parts. im still in search of some more to finish up this swap.
First thing i did for the Civic was swap over automatic pedal assembly for the 5 spd assemble. Thanks to DATeg for picking it up for me at the junkyard!
That was just done today.
Tomorrow i will break down the rsx a little further.
and get some picture up for Civic.
Thanks jam…yea i found out it was pricey after i added all the price together…
you should of stayed with the EG chassis that all i got to say.
Sorry no picture of the sleeper just know its all stock. nothing will be change. except maybe for a RSX Muffler in the back,
It has the typical rust, some dents in the front driver fender. This build will be straight stock.
i am under 6ft but dont have any plans on changing the stock appearance of this civic.
when i meant all stock im sticking to it lol.
stock interior stock exterior thats what im going for no mods what so ever except for the k20 sleeper style.
let me know, illl definitely consider it lol once you have it stripped just.
My swap canidate! LOL!
Bring it Ricers!

Just got finished with the k20 motor, its prepped for the cherry picker tomorrow. only thing left is the 3 engine mount bolts.
with this build i plan on keeping the Power Steering, A/C and Cruise Control…i dont think anyone has accomplished all 3 lol or 2 for that matter. only power steering is very common. i havent seen anyone get cruise control to work but i think my game plan will make it work oem style! nothing aftermarket if it work i will make a harness conversion for it and maybe pay for the swap lol
I can appreciate the effort and time and cash to swap this, but I have to ask this question…why wouldn’t you at least fix the dents and rust on this car if you’re already spending that kind of cash on the car? Maybe at least lower it on some nice wheels? I mean honestly it’s a 200hp motor so it’s not like a super high power build. Might as well make it turn a head of two but with subtle touches. Just an opinion…
agreed. It will still be a sleeper regardless, most people guys around here that drive egs usually dont have the time or money to throw k series motors into their cars. If you gonna go with the best fwd swappable honda motor into this coupe you might as well make it appealing to the eye as well man. goodluck this thing should turn out real nice.
The build cost me so much, I had a budget and I was either going to get the car fixed up making it rust free/clean with a b series or keep the shell as is and do a k series. I opted to take the k series ans scarfice the appearance for the time being.
I will maybe down the line want my rhd civic back to swap this in. I can always find a clean shell if need be but I an never find a complete swap conversion for a eg.
So maybe down the line it will be lowered with some nice wheels and rust fixed but for now the cash is not there after the build.
